Item Description: ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!!

This tankard has the perfect look of true old Victorian beauty!
This is an exquisite antique Limoges porcelain tankard with hand painted CURRANTS and foliage! Although it would display beautifully as HOLLY over the holidays! It is painted all around, except for the side opposite the handle. The detail and fabulous array of colors are painted by the artist "South", in 1904, as signed on the bottom. The original Pouyat Limoges blank features a ridged bottom and a detailed handle. The top rim and handle are gilded and show only light normal age wear.
