Item Description: This is an exquisite antique Limoges porcelain tab handled tray with the most beautiful hand painted burgundy roses!!
The artistic detail is masterful and it is signed by the artist on the front, "C.E.Maxwell".
The original Haviland France Limoges mold features raised relief detail near the edges that scallopes toward the center and a longer tab handles with a design at either end.
Please note that due to the one-dimensional picture, this piece is much more beautiful than my pictures could capture.

The edges are gilded. Gilding is 98% intact.


Size: 11 1/4" x 8 3/4"

Condition: VERY GOOD!!!! There is extremely light wear where the raised scalloped are, this is extremely common with this mold because of the age and the fact that the original paint would also naturally tend to be thinner in these raised areas. It really is minimal compared to the beauty.
