This is an exquisite and elegant Elite Limoges porcelain plate with peace roses and surrounded by rich thick gold.

The artist added raised enameling to the peace roses, this 3-d detail brings an eye catching "pop".
The artist also added large gilded leaves with enameling to enhance the stems and veins of the leaves.

The original mold features raised detail near the edge and scalloped edges which have been heavily and gorgeously gilded.
It is double marked (more valuable as it is painted by a studio artist ).
These Bawo & Dotter (Elite)Limoges Marks date this piece 1896 to 1920.
