Item Description: Offered is this EXTREMELY LARGE AND STUNNING hand painted cream pitcher, and lidded sugar bowl.This delicate limoges porcelain is lavishly painted with pink and white cabbage roses and green foliage all around each piece. They have a very intricate elaborate gilded scrollwork pattern all the way around the sides of both pieces , inside the spout of the creamer and on the lid of the sugar. The handles of the original mold feature a love knot (for gripping ease)and the love knot is gilded. They are marked with the Pouyat Limoges Mark 7. This dates them 1891 to 1932.
Size: Sugar~ 7 5/8" wide x 5 1/2" tall.
Creamer~ 5 3/8" wide x 4 5/8" tall.
Condition: EXCELLENT - no chips or cracks. Heavy gilding is fully intact.
