ENORMOUS 1800's Signed Limoges Tray with LILACS

Item Description: HUGE, STUNNING and GORGEOUS!!!! For the LILAC Limoges lovers. This is a RARE gorgeous antique W.G. and Co. Limoges tray with lovely hand painted LILACS enhanced with enameling. It is masterfully hand painted by the artist "C.M.C.", as signed on the back. Background colors are light lilac and white. The enameling added to the Lilacs really makes them "POP". This is probably one of the most beautiful original Guerin Limoges molds I have ever seen. There is intricate raised detail all around the scalloped edge. This area has been beautifully gilded with an intricate pattern. At the four swirls near the edge the is also light lilac color. Gilding is 99% intact. It is marked with the William Guerin Mark 3 which dates it to before 1891!!!!


Size:14 1/4" x 14 1/2" (I tried to get the widest measurements, in case you are measuring for display)
