Item Description: This is a rare and elegant handpainted antique footed creamer and open sugar. It is the highly collectable Guerin Limoges porcelain featuring gorgeous pink and burgundy cabbage roses (these are hand painted not transfers) and a raised gild over enamel scrollwork. The detail of the roses, foliage and gorgeous array of colors are masterfully painted on both sides of each piece by the artist. The very detailed gild over raised enamel scrollwork goes all the way around each piece. The original molds are stunning. Look at the detail in the handles, scolloped edges and exquisite feet. Gild is intact (except normal light wear on the bottom of the feet. They are marked William Guerin Limoges France Mark 4. This dates them 1891 to 1932.
