Item Description: This is a gorgeous antique W.G. and Co. Limoges porcelain handled candy tray with beautiful white wild Roses. It issigned on the back by the artist, "Coates".

This is one of my personal favorite molds. This tray was designed to serve guests treats. You simply put your forefinger through the handle and put you thumb on the flowered finial and it is most easy and elegant.
This tray has a beautiful hand painted gilded floral finial and raised floral detail at either end of the Victorian dish's mold. It is marked with the William Guerin mark which dates it 1891 to 1932. Mary Gaston's "Collector's Encyclopedia of Limoges" valued these trays at $275.00 to $325.00 (pg 142&143), in the year 2000.
