Item Description: BEAUTIFUL!!!! For the VIOLET lovers. This is a RARE gorgeous antique W.G. and Co. Limoges porcelain handled candy tray with lively purple violets and foliage.
This is one of my personal favorite molds! It has a beautiful hand painted finial handle with a purple flower on it and raised floral detail at either end of the Victorian dish's mold.
It is marked with the William Guerin mark which dates it 1891 to 1932.
Mary Gaston's "Collector's Encyclopedia of Limoges" valued these trays at $275.00 to $325.00 (pg 142&143), in the year 2000.

Condition: EXCELLENT Original, 2 small original firing marks on the backside seating base. They do not detract from value or beauty.
