Item Description: STUNNING! This is an exquisite large antique Limoges tankard with hand painted multi-colored GRAPES and foliage painted all the way around! The detail and array of color are fabulously painted by the artist. The original JPL limoges blank features a ridged bottom and an elegant handle. The top edge beautiful handle are gilded. The gild is intact.
It is marked with the Pouyat Limoges Mark 7 and impressed with the number 559. That dates this piece 1891 to 1932.
