Item Description: STUNNING! A RARE 7 piece master berry bowl set for the ROSE lovers...they don't come prettier OR MORE WELL DONE! There are the most masterfully painted swags of large cabbage roses handpainted on each piece of this antique Limoges porcelain. The roses are surrounded by a soft array of background colors. Each bowl is an exquisite beauty unto itself!
This set is signed on the bottoms by the talented artist "Ardie". ote the detail in the roses, foliage, rose buds and shadowing buds and foliage in the background.
This is an exquisite set with the master bowl and 6 berry bowls. All have heavily gilded scalloped edges.
They are marked with the Klingenberg Mark 9 Limoges France, dates this set 1900 to 1910.
