Item Description: This is a gorgeous antique Limoges cup and saucer with the most beautiful purple VIOLETS! The violets and foliage are hand painted around the cup and on the saucer.
The talented artist also added raised enameling to the pistils for dimension. This effect brings the violets to life!
There is a varied soft array of background colors that truly makes this set stand out.
The original mold of the cup features a gorgeous ribbon handle and raised detail near the top and bottom. The mold of the saucer also has a scalloped edge and raised detail near the edge.
The handle, top of the cup and edge of the saucer have been gilded and the gild is in excellent condition!

They are marked with the Haviland Limoges Mark 12. This dates 1894 to 1931.
