Item Description: MOST EXQUISITE! This is a superb antique JPL Limoges porcelain plate with hand painted roses!
The colorful roses and foliage with a gorgeous array of background colors are fabulous. The facory approved artist also added a large leaf design near the edge with heavy gild over raised enameling. The scalloped edge is also gilded.The gild is 99.5% intact.
It is double marked (more valuable) with the Pouyat Limoges mark, which dates this piece 1891 to 1932.
