Item Description: WOW,this ethereal beauty looks almost like a photograph!
This is an exquisite JPL limoges plate with hand painted creamy yellow ROSES!
The detail of the roses and foliage are fabulously decorated by the early listed Chicago artist, "E.Heyn". Heyn professionally decorated in the golden age of hand painted porcelain, from 1902--1921 through his own Chicago Studio. Sometime between 1914-1922 Heyn also worked for the Chicago White's Art Studio which was located in the Chicago Loop area on Ontario St. (See additional information in Reed's Pickard Collectors Book on this wonderful Artist).
It is signed by "E.Heyn", on the front.

The edges are heavily gilded. Gilding is 99% intact.
It is marked with the Pouyat Limoges France (JPL) mark.
