Item Description: SO STUNNING! This is a gorgeous antique hand painted antique chocolate cup and saucer set of thin and delicate Limoges porcelain. (Please note this is for one cup and one saucer).
It has beautiful pink, burgundy and yellow ROSES.
The roses are enhanced with a delicate raised enameling.
There is an intricate gilded scroll design on the front of the cup and on the saucer.
Background colors are yellows and greens.
The cup is signed by the factory artist on the back near the roses, "T.M.J.". The initials are that of "Thomas M. Jelinek". It is a Pickard decorating pattern named after the artist, called, "Jelinek's Roses".
There is gorgeous gilded handle and the top of the cup and beaded rim of the plate are gilded as well. The gild is intact!
It is double marked (more valueable) with the decorating stamp of "Hand Painted J.M.S. Co." and marked Tressemann and Vogt Limoges France and has the date stamp
"Feb 26th, 1901" on the bottom.

Cup- 3 1/8" tall

Condition: EXCELLENT original. No chips or cracks.
