Item Description: SIMPLY MAGNIFICENT and TRULY FASCINATELY! If you know a cup and saucer collector this would be a prize!

This is an exquisite hand painted antique boullion cup with 2 saucers (each has a different scene) of extremely thin and delicate Limoges porcelain.

Where to begin this description...from the 1897, it has beautiful pink wild roses all , the roses have delicate raised enameling to make them "POP". These roses are even on the inside of the cup.
Then the artist added an elaborate gild over enameling design of flowers and foliage that cascade opposite of the roses.
One saucer has a very detailed picture of a man fishing and the other has an equally detailed picture of a sail boat....on these area the artist also added the most delicate enameling to the scene...the clouds even come to life.
The inside of the cup is light green and if you look very closely, it looks as though the artist originally painted the top edge of the cup and the base green, changed her mind and painted gold over them.
The scalloped edges, base and elegant handles are heavily gilded. The gilding is 99% intact.
The bottom of the saucers are signed and dated by the artist, "Emma Leuzarder~ April 26th, '97" (1897).

It is marked D&Co France, this R. Delinieres & Cie Limoges Mark dates this piece 1897 to 1900 (consistant with the artist's date)

Size: Saucers- 6 1/8"
Cup- 4 3/4" wide with the gorgeous handles and 3" tall.

Condition: Well, the saucer with the sail boat has a tight spider crack, very hard to see with the naked eye too. But the cup and other saucer are in EXCELLENT condition with no chips or cracks. EXCELLENT
