This delicate antique hand painted Limoges porcelain is elegantly painted with burgundy, yellow and pink tea roses and foliage encircling it in a very Victorian style.
There is a delicate gilded scrollwork design near the top edge. The lid and handles of the original mold have the love knots. These are heavily gilded. The gild is 99% intact.
The background colors are: light green, cream and pink.
It is signed by the talented artist "Parkhurst" on the bottom.
It is marked with Pouyat Limoges Mark 7. This dates 1891 to 1932.
Size: 5" from handle to handle, 3 1/4" tall.
Condition: Very Good- no cracks, however there is one very tiny chip on the inside of the lid, it does not show from the outside and does nor affect the beauty nor stability.
