Item Description: STUNNING and GORGEOUS!!!! For the VIOLET limoges lovers. This is a RARE gorgeous antique W.G. and Co. Limoges porcelain handled candy tray with beautiful purple violets, signed by the artist "E.V.A." on the back. There is raised detail added to the pistils of the violets for added artistic dimension.This is one of my personal favorite molds! It has a beautiful hand painted gilded finial with a flower on it and raised floral detail at either end of the Victorian dish's mold. It is marked with the William Guerin mark which dates it 1891 to 1932. Mary Gaston's "Collector's Encyclopedia of Limoges" valued these trays at $275.00 to $325.00 (pg 142&143), in the year 2000. Size: 11" x 6" Condition: EXCELLENT no chips, cracks, or crazing. Gilding shows light age wear.
